this was my first time staying at Oak Tree and i was pleasantly surprised to receive a room upgrade from a standard room to one with a beautiful view. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, which made my stay even more enjoyable. overall, it was a great first experience, and i would happily stay here again on my next trip to Semarang. thank you for the wonderful hospitality!

We stayed during Hari Raya Holiday.Check in went smoothly, room arrangement was same with our requirement. The room interior is made of wood and it feels a bit damp.If the staff could turn on the air conditioning in advance, it will help to ward off the dampness.A bit chaos during breakfast in the restaurant due to so many people breakfast in the same time. The restaurant ran out some of dishes and they take time to replenish. But it still understandable because we stay on D-Day of Hari Raya. There is room for improvement, but overall we enjoy our stay at Oak Tree Hotel.

I have read through the reviews already posted and I can't believe that these people have stayed in the same property as I.|Yes the room are clean and bed comfortable, however that is where my comparison ends. The bathroom is tried and dated, bath tub has seen better days and looks as if someone has been washing rocks in the bottom of it. The shower is great if you are under 1.5m tall, if not your going to have a very clean waist. The building as a whole is in need of some maintenance, not just a lick of paint I might add.|Breakfast is...well, lacking.....Oak Tree please note that there are an abundant amount of different fruit on this planet.....not just melons. Varity is the spice of life. Oh and fix your toaster....it doesn't matter how hot the toaster is....if the bread is travelling at warp speed through it......it doesn't get brown!! |Also please please get some more music for your restaurant rather than the one song repeated incessantly.....its like some sort of phycological tor

Old Historic Hotel with a Mysterious Charm This old hotel has a strong sense of history the moment you step inside. The architecture, long corridors, and classic details make it feel like you’re staying in another era. It’s not modern or flashy, but that’s exactly where its charm lies. There’s a quiet, slightly eerie atmosphere — especially at night — and locals will tell you stories about the hotel being haunted. Whether you believe in ghosts or not, you can’t deny there’s something mysterious about the place. Subtle sounds, old creaking floors, and dimly lit hallways add to the experience. The rooms are clean and comfortable, though clearly old-fashioned. Staff are polite and professional, and they treat the hotel’s history with respect rather than trying to sensationalize it. If you enjoy historic places with character — and don’t mind a bit of mystery — this hotel offers a unique stay you won’t forget.
