  I had a very enjoyable stay at Marriott Yogyakarta. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, providing a relaxing environment throughout my visit. The hotel is well-maintained, and the staff were consistently warm, friendly, and attentive, making the overall experience very pleasant.The breakfast spread was one of the highlights of the stay, offering a wide variety of local and international options to suit different tastes. The hotel's location is also excellent, with Pakuwon Mall conveniently located right beside the property, making dining, shopping, and entertainment easily accessible.One area that could be improved is the breakfast seating arrangement. On two separate mornings, I was assigned a table by the staff, but upon returning with my food, I found that the table had been taken by other guests.   Junior Suite Stay : Mixed Experience, Great Staff Recovery I recently stayed in a Junior Suite at Marriott Yogyakarta Hotel, and my experience was a mix of disappointment and genuine appreciation for the staff. I was initially placed on the third floor, where the view was underwhelming: walls, blocks, and tree trunks, quite far from what's shown on the hotel's website. Thankfully, the front desk team acted quickly, and by the next day I was moved to the eighth floor, which made a real difference to my stay, blue sky, pool & city skyline. I genuinely think the 3rd Floor Junior Suite should be refurbished. I want to specifically thank Miss Dea (Receptionist) for her helpful assistance, along with Arief and Rivaldo from the concierge team as they went out of their way to make my stay comfortable. That said, the eighth-floor room wasn't without issues. I found a lizard in the toilet, which was unsettling throughout the night (I finally caught it and released it). I also noticed cracked

  One of the best Marriott properties I've stayed in. Rooms were very clean, service was fantastic! The staff were very attentive, and the food was amazing. My friends and I agreed this was one of the best hotel breakfast because they delivered on: variety, quality and taste. Even in room dining fried rice was one of the best. As a bonvoy member I definjtely felt appreciated and recognised. Only one thing, when I asked for connecting room the reservation team told me that would incur extra charges (which made me feel unpleasant as a bonvoy member). Luckily the concierge was accommodating enough to arrange the connecting room for me.

  I highly recommend this hotel. I am currently writing this on my third night at this wonderful hotel, in their beautiful M Lounge. I’ve traveled all around the world, and this is one of the best Marriott properties I’ve ever stayed at. It is clearly managed exceptionally well, with a strong focus on genuine hospitality. Everyone working here is clearly very well trained. I absolutely recommend this hotel to all my friends and family, and I would not think twice about coming back.
