Frequently asked
What's the smoothest visa option for arrival?
Pre-applied e-VOA at molina.imigrasi.go.id is the smoothest — the e-VOA lane at immigration is typically shorter than the on-arrival payment queue.
Is the Bali tourist levy mandatory?
Yes, IDR 150,000 per person (including children) for anyone arriving in Bali from abroad since February 2024. Pre-pay at lovebali.baliprov.go.id to skip the airport counter.
Should I get a SIM at the airport?
Yes — the official Telkomsel/Indosat/XL counters in arrivals are the safe place to buy. Avoid touts. USD 8–15 for a week of decent data.
