I stayed in Ambon for 2 weeks for macro diving, and after a few not-so-good experiences with a nearby dive shop, I decided to switch completely to Blue Rose. It turned out to be a very good decision. Everything at Blue Rose made me satisfied: excellent guides with great experience in finding macro critters, and a very friendly team that made me feel comfortable the whole time. The price per dive was only slightly higher than at the nearby dive shop, but without all the extra charges such as boat fees, even on days when I was the only diver. Lunch was free if doing 2 dives, and it was always a hot and delicious meal freshly cooked by the Blue Rose chef instead of just a lunch box. There was also a very chill and cool resting area where I could recover well between dives. Another thing I really appreciated was the owner, Bam Bang — not loud or showy, but someone who genuinely takes thoughtful care of his guests. I did a total of 20 dives with Blue Rose, and thanks to my guide Robert, I

We made 16 dives here, spotted full of small creatures, as well as go to the out reefs and hv seen great healthy corals. Price very reasonable, guides are professional and we enjoyed here.

Poor management with no feeling for the details! But let's start with the good points. The staff and the guides are great. Good spotters and super helpfull with everything. I wish there would be more awareness for the environment. Some customers with the big cameras destroy everything around them and there should be more action against this behavior. Equipment is working and seems not old. AC in the room. The location is great if you love muck diving. The best dive spots are in front of the resort. The chef is good, but I guess he could be even better if there would be something else than fried rice and fried noodles for every meal. Now the bad. Cleaniness is a huge issue. There is no single spot that is clean. And I'm not talking about a western standard. Even for Asia it's super dirty. There is only one sink in the house that is used for everything (Touth brushing, hand washing, cleaning dishes...) And it looks like nobody ever cleaned it. The shower is dirty and we had some huge

Had one of the best dives in Ambon, there were and abundant amount of durian (underwater) !!! I want to thank Ji Min and her crew of dive guides that took really good care of us and gave 101% effort to search for all those critters that amazed me completely! Some pictures are taken from a fellow diver with their watermark. So Credits to them. Used an Olympus TG4.
