    We had a wonderful stay at the Ambon Dive Resort. It is nestled in the countryside and has been lovingly furnished. Everything is spotless. You can even see into the kitchen, where delicious and varied meals are prepared. The managers and staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The muck diving is a particularly impressive experience. The crew and guides work together perfectly and show guests the exciting underwater world. We can highly recommend this place and would love to travel there again.

    First time "muck diving" and it was great! My guide, Benito, was amazing at finding critters and giving me time and space to take pictures. I really upgraded my macro skills! Matthew and Sri were great hosts. They make a real effort and take pride in their meal prep. Very chill atmosphere and wonderful experience.

    I spent 3 nights and done 7 dives. I am still a beginner and Ambon is easy to dive. After you have seen some "beautiful corals", you will enjoy Ambon because creatures in Ambon are not necessary pretty, but certainly interesting. Also, you do not need to dive deeper to seek many marine creatures, therefore it is recommended for a beginners. Ambon Dive Resort was a perfect place to stay for my holiday. I enjoyed all details of decor and location. Not only I enjoyed meeting guests from all over the world, but I definitely enjoyed learning about the background stories from the owners how and why they built this resort. If I could, I would book this resort again in the future. Lastly, I am impressed with the menu that they serve. Many guests stay longer than 3 nights, and they try their best to entertain a different menu each meal. One thing that you must know before you go there is Ambonese's culture. They love listening to music with very loud volume. However, the owner will still help y

    This lovely spot is thoughtfully planned and extremely well run by Sri and Mattieu. They have been able to keep much of the beautiful forest and the rooms are comfortable and clean. Very good food, great diving and overall, we are so pleased we chose to come to Ambon Dive Resort. An unexpected highlight was a dance concert from the local villagers. All the village children came too, and it was great fun playing with them after the concert.
