  Great fun diving at LDP! Sauling is an outstanding DM who can find the smallest creatures, while ensuring your safety underwater. The boat crew is enthusiastic and helpful, especially Captain Ike and Mamos. The kitchen staff cooks delicious, authentic local meals. The dive center is clean and well-maintained, including the onsite accommodations. The owners Ariy and Ardan are super friendly, taking care of all our needs during the stay in Ambon. Looking forward to coming back again!

  Well-organized dive center. We stayed at another resort, but were picked up by taxi on time every day and brought back after two dives. (For 50k IDR one-way) Great diving atmosphere and excellent value for money. Since we went on a liveaboard afterwards, they even transferred our dive gear directly to the boat, so we didn’t have to take it back to the resort. Highly recommended!

  I stayed for two weeks at Laha Divepacker and it was a great experience! I have been diving for 25 years and this is one of the best centers that I have dived with. First, they are very good at listening to what you would like to do. Especially for experienced divers (you know who you are!) this is such a fresh breath compared to rigidly run dive operators where nothing out of the ordinary is possible or cost an arm and a leg. Second, the team takes well care of the guests, with even a warm lunch for everyone in the afternoon. There is always some ready to help you with whatever you need: a ride to town, a broken zipper, or whatever. Third, the team is very authentic. Everyone’s love for the ocean oozes from every pore of this operation. Even the owners regularly are part of the diving group, for fun. All in all it creates an atmosphere where one feels at home, and where (returning) guests pleasantly interact with each other on the ocean life they have seen in their recent dives. Thank

  We have been at that place 7 years ago, but with the new owners - the former dive guide Ariy and her husband - it is even better! The staff at Laha Divepackers is very friendly and helpful and our expectations of the unterwater world were exeeded - we saw a lot of special critters such as the famous Rhinopia (two kinds), Seahorses, different kinds of frogfish, octopus, flamboyant cuttlefish and many other cuttlefish, crabs and shrimps and much more. It was a surprise to get a lunch that is included in diving, what a great idea! We were more than happy with our dive guide Sauling who is still very enthusiastic in finding even the smallest things. All in all a very pleasant experience!
