I only did diving, didn't spend a night at the hotel. I was very satisfied with the diving discovery session. The instructors were very nice, understanding and reassuring and their explanations were clear. The equipment was in perfect condition, and bottles were fully filled even between the pool session and the first dive (pool session is meant for explanations). During the two dives, instructors were happy to dive and we could feel it (they did not try to shorten the sessions or rush anything), and we always felt fully safe. They showed us amazing exotic fish and beautiful spots, taking time to make sure we saw everything. In terms of price, it is competitive with other clubs around. Overall, I would definitely recommend this diving club for a safe and spotless experience.

Great people, great clean, comfortable stay. The room was spacious and inviting. The pool is very nice and a walkable to plenty of shops and restaurants. It was also quiet and really a wonderful place to relax. The diving was great. I felt safe and comfortable with my guide, Ketta (sp) The staff have a great respect for the ocean and what's in it, be it marine life or the wrecks. Also, I greatly appreciate the ECO side of things within the resort and the ocean clean up. They also offered snorkeling for my wife which was great. Thank you for a great stay! I would recommend!

We spent 4 nights in Amed last week while we are in Bali. My husband was keen to scuba dive and managed six dives. The resort itself was lovely. Inexpensive, but certainly did not come across as cheap! The room was big and bright, nice linens on the bed, shower was hot with great water pressure. Coffee was instant in the room but the coffee in the little restaurant was hot and strong! I really liked the pool - located between the restaurant and the beach, it was lovely. Clean, deep and usually empty! The resort only has about 12 rooms so the staff was always helpful and friendly, they did not appear to be understaffed in any way. Grounds we well kept. The attached dive shop fit my scratched my husband's dive itch - he dove three days at three different sites and the dive master to diver ration was 1:2 or 1:3 . The beach was rocky - bring water shoes. Lots of options for eating Balinese and few other options as well. Would highly recommend and if we are ever back in Amed, would be happ

Bali Dive Resort is definitely a fantastic place to learn to dive. I just completed my PADI Open Water certificate and it is one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had. From the first moment the team is welcoming and professional. Practicing in the pool before hitting the open water really helps with confidence and feeling at ease. All of the dive sites were magical and Damien was an excellent teacher. He very clearly and patiently explains everything making sure you feel safe and in the hands of a professional. I never once felt nervous and always relaxed. The location is also perfect and close to lots of dive sites. If you are thinking of learning to dive put Bali Dive Resort and Damien on your favourites tab!
