  I trained with Bali Freedivers in Amed and had an excellent experience. I’ve been freediving for 12 years, and training with Jan and Pat was genuinely impactful for me. I appreciated both of their teaching styles and felt supported, challenged, and very well guided throughout. This training helped me improve not only in terms of results, such as significantly increasing my breath holds, but also in how I dive. My dives felt calmer, more relaxed, and much more enjoyable overall. One thing I really appreciated was the cold plunge available to students after diving sessions. It made a noticeable difference in recovery and felt like a thoughtful addition to the whole experience. I also joined a fun dive to the Liberty wreck with a few other students, which was fantastic. The wreck itself is absolutely worth visiting, and diving it with this group made it even more special. A special thank you to Jan and Pat for such a wonderful experience.   This is my favorite freedive school in Amed. I found in “Bali Freedivers Amed” everything I was looking for: professional free dive lessons, theory and practice, effective water sessions (I fixed important technical details), clear explanations and very friendly feedback. My sessions were recorded and I understood better what I needed to correct for easy and better freediving. I felt save all the time during water sessions, which was important for me though. It’s good they have all equipment and stuff so if you don’t have your own equipment, don’t worry just come here. I thank Yan and the team for their professionalism, attention and kindness. I’ll come back soon 🤗

  Had a really great freediving session with Yan today and honestly appreciated how attentive and structured the whole experience was. Before getting into the water, he actually listened to what I wanted to work on, what my goals were, and adjusted the session accordingly. During the dives I received clear feedback after each immersion, which made the training feel very productive and personalized. The equipment was also excellent — comfortable suit, proper low-volume mask with great visibility, everything felt well-prepared and professional. He filmed a lot of high-quality GoPro videos that were genuinely useful for technique analysis afterwards. What I appreciated the most was the atmosphere: calm, focused and comfortable. I felt relaxed in the water and could really concentrate on improving instead of just “going through the motions.” You can feel that he genuinely cares about the quality of the experience and the progress of his students.
