  I had an amazing experience at this diving center and successfully achieved my Open Water certification! I was extremely nervous at the beginning, but Alberto was an outstanding instructor — incredibly patient, calm, and supportive throughout the entire course. He made me feel relaxed and confident every step of the way. Thanks to his professionalism and encouragement, I was able to enjoy the experience and complete my certification with confidence. I highly recommend this diving center, especially if you are a beginner or feel anxious about diving.

  Got this dive shop recommended by a friend and as I was not sure if diving is for me, I initially booked Try Scuba with the possibility of extending it into OWD if things went well, which they did! I mean first dive ever at the Liberty Wreck? Didn’t need much more convincing for OWD after that. Got David as an instructor and I couldn’t be more thankful for the smooth experience with him, always made sure I understood completely what he wanted me to do and made me feel safe during the whole 3 days/5 dives of the course. He handled my initial fear like a champ and made the course really fun too. Also answered any and all of my annoying questions about physiology (sorry for that 😆) and other topics way outside of the OWD curriculum. Been diving since with some other shops in Indonesia he recommended to me and they’re just as amazing as him, so MUCHAS GRACIAS David & Pura Vida for such a great entry experience into the underwater world!   Had a great experience with this diving center! I did my Advanced Open Water course with Alberto and it was both really interesting and super chill. We had some amazing dives, and I even tried night diving for the first time which was incredible. Felt relaxed and well taken care of the whole time. Definitely recommend. I also went on a fun dive with Aymé, she communicated everything clearly, answered all my questions and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. We got to see an amazing world of tiny underwater creatures. Special thanks to Javi as well, he brought a camera and captured beautiful photos and videos of sea animals. It was awesome to see details I would’ve missed with just my own eyes, like a pygmy seahorse. P.S. I did my certification course and fun dives in English - there have English-speaking guides, so you don’t need to know Spanish to dive with them. Even though the team is mostly Spanish-speaking, I always felt comfortable and welcome.

  An amazing diving experience. The instructors Alberto, Alberto, and David were fantastic — very professional, explained everything clearly, and took us to absolutely incredible dive spots underwater. Special shout-out to Alejandra, who took great care of us, and to Alberto (the instructor), who together made my partner’s first ever dive an unforgettable and perfect experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to dive in the area.
