From a dive center I expect a few things: to know their dive sites, to have a well organized daily routine, and to provide a not-crowded experience. No fear diving delivers and exceeds on all these expectations. We had an amazing 10 days with them and would definitely repeat next year. I would add that their rental gear looked fine, but we haven't really tested it except for wetsuits, as we had our own. And Tom is an amazing high energy and fun buddy and guide, he provided a wonderful experience for my son.

We were referred to No Fear by Turk Vangel. Turk runs Prana Dive but was leaving Bali thus was unable to assist us. My wife is OW with 19 dives but has not dived for 17 yrs. She can be a nervous diver hence why we were looking for a suitable instructor for her refresher course. Amanda the owner was in Europe at the time, but she was excellent in coordinating everything for us to ensure everything went smoothly (more on that later). My wife had a fantastic (private) refresher course at Jemeluk Bay with Wayne, who got her fully comfortable back in the water. On the day she did her refresher, I did two dives at the USAT Liberty. Padmi from the shop led the two dives and we had Michael from Germany who was also doing a refresher course. Having dived with many different shops around the world, I was impressed by Padmi's instructions with Michael as well as how she led the dives. My wife and I did two more days of diving with gaps in between. Padmi led those dives and she was fanta

When environmental factors forced us to cancel our planned Komodo liveaboard at the final hour, our organizers, Tim and Rick had to pivot fast to save our TOCO Fam holiday. We decided as a group to head to Bali; to Amed Beach, where Rick had worked with the owners of No Fear Diving to help us save our holiday and move it to land based scuba diving; thinking of it as a "consolation prize." How wrong we were. From the moment we arrived, we wern’t just guests; we were folded into the incredible culture that Tom and Amanda have championed with their team. They live by a simple but profound philosophy: Come as friends, leave as family…. Sound familiar? What makes No Fear Diving truly exceptional is that the Thai Ocean Academy (TOCO) philosophy exists here, vibrantly alive, outside of TOCO itself. A wonderful day spent with wonderful Wayan who took us through a refresher and then 2 dives at Jamilen Bay. Incredible conditions, visibility perfect, coral stunning, fish of all varieties, colours and shapes and a seahorse, stone fish, crabs, shy moray eel and much more thanks to Wayan's sharp eye. He was also great with us as we both had issues with equalising and he showed great patience and perseverance as he gently lead us on and provided clear and thoughtful instructions continuously. Thanks to Laura and ? ...sorry, mind blank, for organising it for us at the last minute, much appreciated. It was a magical and memorable day. Huge congrats to Wayan on a job truly well done!! 👏
