  An American on holiday at a German (speaking) run dive shop... totally worked out! I did a three day six dive package, along with transport, and had an awesome trip. The transport was very gracious and accommodating, taking me long distances through traffic which I REALLY appreciated. Paradise worked through every detail with me, including making sure I got in dive sites that interested me the most. I thought my dive master was friendly and I enjoyed the dive buddies I had each day. My gear rental was decent, with everything included in one few. One note: their credit card machine was down when I had to pay my final invoice. Such is travel and Bali, but I was definitely bummed. Dive sites totally made up for any qualms.

  We decided to go diving on the upcoming vacation and took the OWD course at the German speaking (english as well) diving school in padang bai. It is a perfect place not only to learn how to dive but also to see your first underwater turtles, angelfish, clown fish and even small sharks (and many more)!! Our divemaster Julian was a great instructor for our OWD course! Very professional, passionate about diving and he provides helpful insights. We enjoyed his clear communication and fun character.   We had our First diving experience here while we did our open water diver certification. It was a lot of fun and we felt very well taken care off with our instructor Chris, he was very calm and professional and guided us through the exercises very smoothly. If you have him for your diving course you are in good hands! The diving instructors all speak English and German, and the there is also a large local team. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable - i think this is a good place to learn how to dive! The dives in the ocean were amazing and they organise lunch on the boats as well. Overall we were very happy with our experience and we will look forward to more dives in the future!

  My husband and I loved learing the Open Water course with Michael. He was very patient, thorough, and clear with his instructions which helped us to feel comfortable diving with him and enjoy the open water dives. The skills tests were broken up over 4 dives so we were never overwhelmed with too many tests in 1 dive. We are English speaking only and there was no language barrier. Book with Michael if your looking for a great experience!
