  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Puri Bagus Candidasa Resort truly has that old-school Bali atmosphere that is becoming harder to find these days. From the moment I checked in and walked toward the room, it instantly brought back memories of visiting places like this in the 90s. You can definitely feel that this is an older hotel, but in the best possible way — nostalgic, authentic, and full of character. The location is beautiful, right by the ocean, with a peaceful atmosphere far away from the busy areas of South Bali. Perfect for anyone looking to relax, recharge, or simply enjoy a quieter side of Bali. The staff were very warm and helpful from check-in until check-out. The rooms are spacious, clean, and designed with a traditional Balinese touch. The gardens and pool area are also very well maintained. One of my favorite moments was spending the afternoon by the sea — calm, peaceful, and incredibly relaxing. Breakfast was good, and the restaurant has a lovely ocean view.   Lovely hotel grounds and pool area. Very friendly and obliging  staff. Orca dive centre next door and we went on snorting trip to Blue Lagoon.

  Puri Bagus Candidasa is a lovely bungalow hotel situated in a nice and quiet neighborhood. The balinese style bungalows are spacious and clean, the outdoor bathroom is fun. All staff, at reception, restaurant and management, are excellent, extremely friendly and attentive. The restaurant at breakfast and dinner was absolutely wonderful, food was delicious. Definitely at the top end of all our Bali experiences. And when leaving I even got a jar of tamarind jam as a gift because I liked it so much. :)||Only one caveat: Since last year there is a governmental construction project in Candidasa to build a promenade like in Sanur, so there is some construction going on on various, changing parts all over Candidasa and beach access is restricted.||Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay in Candidasa very much, and Puri Bagus is doing a great job to make up for any inconvenience!   The location, accommodations, and staff are top notch. So gorgeous to have the ocean right there and all of the flowers and dragon statues around. We were here for a yoga retreat, they provided mats and props, the shala was beautiful, and the staff infused it with such care by creating a flower mandala and incense. We enjoyed the Balinese dance performance in the restaurant. The spa and restaurant were wonderful. We got so many treatments, so affordable. Such a wonderful time, will definitely be back.
