I was there today, July 7th, 2024. The people were very friendly, but the beach and water are the dirtiest I've ever seen. The truth is that it's not worth it until the beaches and water are free of trash, plastic and dead animals lying decomposing on the beach, There was also oil from the boat engines. Also the poor condition of the boats, terrible. I think while the tourists are snorkeling, the boatmen might start fishing trash out of the sea to clean it up. Sorry, but Egypt's beaches are clean and perfect for snorkeling. At least until the beaches of Bali: the Blue Lagoon and surrounding areas are cleaned.

If you are strong against seasick, this is the best activity you can do! The water is clear and warm and the fish were great. You will have the life jacket on, thus you should relax your body and you will automatically float. Just be careful and try not to get the seawater into your mouth and your equipments. After getting underwater, they have a showering and changing place which was clean and easy to use. The only downside is that if you easily get seasick or motion sickness then traveling by the boat and swimming may make you throw up.

Snorkeling is an absolute must-do. The water is crystal clear, and the underwater views are unreal—bright corals, loads of colorful fish, and just a peaceful vibe. Some spots can get a bit busy, but if you head out early, it's like having your own slice of underwater paradise.

First experience for me snorkeling. I gave this excursion as a Valentine's Day present to my husband. I was very nervous at first doing it. All the staff that accompanied us were all reassuring and helpful. It turned out to be a fun, unforgettable experience for us.
