A beautiful secluded hotel with stand alone rooms seemingly in the jungle making your own secluded paradise. Staff were amazing. Owners helpful and accommodating. Frogs everywhere (outside only), especially after it rains. Koi fish in the ponds And “rivers” flowing throughout the premises. Amazing wildlife everywhere. We could even watch monkeys in the distant treetops. Well priced. The rooms are well made. Beautiful big beds, lovely bathroom. Great pool, and the attached (although no affiliated) dive shop was a great bonus.

It was a great place to stay. Not too far from the beach and many attractions. The staff provide great service and breakfast was great too. There is a great diveshop at the hotel and is a reliable company who could organise dive trips for you and even take lessons at the pool. Near to restaurants, shops and warongs where you could get food.

Watergarden in Candidasa is such a peaceful and natural place to stay. The whole atmosphere feels super jungle-like and incredibly relaxing, and if you love nature and quiet surroundings, this is absolutely your spot. You walk through beautiful gardens to get to your bungalow and the entire setting has this calm, natural vibe that makes you instantly unwind. The rooms are on the darker side in a cozy way, which gives them a warm feeling instead of the bright “tourist white” you see in many other places. It really adds to the atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist you with anything you need, whether it’s arranging taxis or helping with other requests. They really make you feel taken care of. And the restaurant is amazing, honestly one of the best. The La Porde steak is my personal favourite! Highly recommend if you’re looking for comfort, nature and total relaxation.

Had rats in my room at night, it was absolutely terrifying. I went to the reception in the dark which was also quite terrifying, to find one sleeping guard there who spoke barely any English. I told him I wanted to go to another hotel and he did help me when I asked him to. When I checked in at the other hotel, he ran after me insisting I paid my dinner bill even though it was 1.30 in the morning and I promised I would come back the next morning for a proper check out. Absolute disaster.
