  I did my Divemaster course here since late January to early March, and it was truly one of the best experience I’ve had in my life. I have always been a diving enthusiast since I first learnt diving in Hong Kong back in 2021 and I did several overseas dive trips afterwards. The start of 2026, I am lucky enough to have the opportunity to take a break from work and it doesn’t take long for me to decide coming to Gili T for Divemaster and IDC course altogether as it has been something I’ve always wanted to do. I chose Blue Marlin among all the dive shops on the island because of its renowned reputation especially for the IDC course as it’s PADI’s Career Development Dive Center. Also, my friend recommended Holly to me as she has done her IDC here years ago too. Turned out everything is like a dream comes true, everything have been going on buttery smooth since I arrived the island.   Went to Blue Marlin for some fun dives and it honestly exceeded all expectations. The instructors were fantastic — knowledgeable, friendly, and made every dive feel safe and enjoyable. Special shoutout to our divemaster Didit, who was absolutely brilliant. Great energy, super attentive, and really made the dives special. The whole operation runs like clockwork, from the briefings to the boat, so you can just focus on the experience. The dive sites around Gili Trawangan are stunning. Incredible marine life and visibility. If you’re on the island and want to dive, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!

  We are staying at Blue Marlin Dive and are also diving. Of course it's a trade off with staying right at the dive shop. The atmosphere is great, it's a hustle and bustle. The staff are very friendly, we enjoy the breakfast. The diving is very well organised and we are diving twice a day. We would come again!
