A special thank you to our instructors, Joe and Pedro, for their dedication and clear teaching style. They made every dive fun, safe, and unforgettable, always adapting to our pace and answering all of our questions. Thanks to them, we enjoyed every moment of the course and the dives, saw amazing marine life, and gained so much confidence underwater.   I cannot speak highly enough of my experience with Gili Divers. As someone who was only just dipping my toes into the diving world, I was blown away by the professionalism, kind-nature, safety standards, and communication demonstrated by the entire team. I initially signed up for my Open Water certification and couldn't be more stoked with how the course was delivered. My instructors were Simon, Pedro, and Sanni, and I completed my training in a small, intimate group under their guidance. They took the time to ensure everyone thoroughly understood the theory before putting it into practice, creating a learning environment that was both supportive and confidence-inspiring. What really stood out was the friendly nature of the team and the welcoming atmosphere throughout the dive centre. From day one, I felt comfortable asking questions and challenging myself, knowing I was in safe and capable hands.   Gili Divers was an incredible place to do my Open Water course. Huge thanks to Niko for being such an amazing instructor, and to Miguel for being a great Robin to the Batman for our group. ✨ Interesting tidbit: I injured my knee in an accident the day before the course started and was limping heavily on land. After consulting with Niko and Sandy, they helped eliminate my fears and encouraged me to continue if I wanted to, which was possible thanks to buoyancy underwater eliminating load on my knee. Throughout the course, Niko was patient, accommodating, encouraging, and handled our group of 4 brilliantly without ever letting my injury slow the group down. He managed the training schedule perfectly around our group’s needs: For a challenging Day 2 with lots of skills to learn, he even pre-arranged another instructor, Josh, to assist so everyone got enough attention and we stayed on track despite my challenges. 💪🏼 On our final Dive #4, we faced very strong ocean currents.   Amazing experience again with Gili Divers ! This was my second time diving with them, and once again everything was absolutely perfect. This time I did a 40m deep dive with Pedro and Yemanja, both were incredibly professional, highly skilled divers, and always attentive. You feel completely safe and confident with them from start to finish. I also completed a Shark Ecology certification with Amalie, a true shark and marine life enthusiast. She shared so much knowledge with passion and made the learning experience both fun and fascinating. The whole Gili Divers team is outstanding: professional equipment, strong focus on safety, and such a positive and friendly atmosphere. You can really feel their passion for diving and the ocean.
