    Staying at De Nata Hostel in Labuan Bajo felt like crashing at a friend's place. The staff and owner were more like family, always there to help out and make us feel at home.||What's amazing about this cozy spot is how they're not just about hosting guests. They're on a mission to give back to the community. Part of what you pay helps them build new hostels, a café, and support local kids' education. They even have this cool shop, Ata Flores, selling awesome T-shirts to keep supporting their projects.||It's not just a place to stay; it's like being part of a community effort.     One of the best hostels I've stayed at! The rooftop has an amazing sunset view, and the social vibe makes it very easy to connect with other travellers. The female dorm I stayed was newly built, and the bathrooms were always clean. The hostel also makes it super convenient to arrange activities, even at the last minute, including Komodo boat tours and fun dives. I did my very first scuba dive through this hostel, and my instructor, Ata, was fantastic—knowledgeable, funny, and reliable. He made me feel comfortable and confident throughout the whole experience. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Labuan Bajo.

    Stayed here 5 weeks ago and ended up extending from 3 nights to 7 nights. The hosts are all amazing and loved their positivity. They also helped me get back my 2 bikinis, which I had forgotten at the hostel and helped in coordinating another guest to meet me all the way to Lombok! Also special shout out to the boys Tata and Efren, who made my evenings on the rooftop memorable with great sunsets and conversations. Hope to be able to return one day!     Nice hostel! View over the bay is insane for a hostel. Dorm was a little small, beds were very nice, bathroom facilities were clean. Staff was great. Kitchen was nice to have and also clean, if everyone cleans up after themselves ofcourse. Would recommend!
