  The location is OK, easy to find. But the hotel itself needs retouch, rebuild and beautify. Disappointment after arrived at the location, restaurant is very mediocre, serving nothing but fry fishes. Had to turn around and looked for other places to stay. The lady at the check in was very nice gave our money back. If you are on vacay, and looking to relax and enjoy, this is not the place for that. Sad to say...

  Decent accommodation with AC, fridge, cable TV and water heater in the bathroom. Excellent diving operations, friendly and hardworking crew. Food is decent with a mix of local indo flavour and Chinese style cooking. Resort staff were all very hospitable and helpful.

  I recently stayed at La Racasse and enjoyed it thoroughly. The food is good with the chef constantly making sure you are happy. The rooms are basic but clean, the AC works quietly and the bathroom has warm water. There is no rubbish anywhere to be seen on this resort, not even a cigarette butt. This is an indication that it I well managed. The rubbish issue is usually very common in Indonesia but well done at La Racasse. The Dive guides are good but on one or two dives the guide expected ou to stay up with him. I am the paying customer and if I wish to stop and spend as long as I wish at a spot then the guide should stop and wait also. In some cases I stopped to photograph only to find that when I finished the guide had disappeared around the corner, oblivious to the fact that I was not following him. All Diveguides need to be aware of who is paying who to go diving.||Otherwise this resort is outstanding for service and price, which is very reasonable indeed. I will certainly return to

  For the price my wife an I paid, I would give this resort a full five star rating. Their staff were so friendly and accommodating. After a few days we felt like we had made new friends. ||||The rooms were cleaned everyday. Aircon worked well. The water heater in our room worked well till our last day when it stopped working. The water from the shower could have been a little more powerful. The resort in general was spotless. A swimming pool was built while we were there and it is scheduled to be completed in about 2 months. ||||The food was cooked by their in house chef, Gerry. He was extremely friendly and took time to ensure that we enjoyed our meals.||||There was no Wi-Fi in the rooms. The only place with Wi-Fi is the office area. The restaurant is supposed to have Wi-Fi but it was not working. Payment by credit card was also not available. All staff except the security guard and cook leave the resort at 6pm. So if you have any issues after 6pm, getting them addressed would be a c
