  What an amazing place, we are definitely returning. |we were picked up from the airport with a big friendly welcome and driven directly to|the resort. Around 50 mins.|As we had arrived late that didn't seem to matter as the cases were taken to our room the chef had created a wonderful late dinner for us.|The resort is set in beautiful surroundings with a very relax atmosphere. The staff new us by our names straight away which really did give you the feeling that you were part of a big family. I've never felt so welcome.|Diving was great, with a simple set up so that you had breakfast and just walked straight onto the boat. Our guide was so lovely and stayed with us through out the time we were there. I believe this is their policy which worked really well as we got to know each other and how we dived.|The reefs are very good, lots of life and great wall dives.|See you soon Murex

  An extraordinary resort! So beautiful with the best service we’ve ever experienced worldwide. The staff is wonderful — happy, helpful and always available for any need. The cuisine is truly fantastic — delicious international buffets for breakfast, lunch, snack time and dinner with items changing everyday. Truly first-class. During our entire stay we had a personal guide (David) who joined us for every reef exploration adventure. He is absolutely professional, courteous and friendly — Murex must be so proud to have such an excellent staff member. Without hesitation, Murex is among the best resorts we’ve experienced.

  Caroline on Tour gives the Murex Resort in Manado and Bangka a solid 5 stars! We went with 12 people, and the experience was outstanding. The staff were not only incredibly friendly and polite, but they had a great sense of humor that made every interaction enjoyable. The Manado resort is set on a beautiful, expansive property with towering trees, while the Bangka resort offers a laid-back, bohemian vibe in a private bay. Both were stunning! The rooms were cozy and well-equipped—nothing to complain about. The diving spots across North Sulawesi, Bunaken, and Bangka were breathtaking—even though we didn’t see dugongs or mola molas, everything else was fantastic. A special mention goes to the food. There was a buffet not just in the evening, but also for breakfast and lunch, offering something for everyone, and it was consistently delicious.   Caroline on Tour gives Murex Resort in Manado and Bangka 5 stars! With 12 of us, we loved the friendly, funny, and service-oriented staff and boat crew. Manado’s lush property and Bangka’s bohemian bay were both stunning. Rooms were lovely, and the diving was fantastic, even without dugongs or mola molas. Buffets for every meal were superb. We’ll be back!
