  I stayed here couple of times and really enjoyed it. Rooms are clean and spacious, toilet is in decent condition and the location is super good, right in front of the traditional market and with a lot of warungs around. It is also possible to rent a scooter (they charged me 100k/24h). The staff is very friendly and will help you with any of your requests. Will surely stay here every time I’m in Maumere!

She is genuinely happy to stop what she’s doing and accompany guests to the market, atm, restaurant, grocery store, and so on, ensuring that you’re paying “local prices.”||The entire staff at Bengue Hotel strive to please. If you buy it, they will cook it. They will clean it as well! They were renovating the restaurant when we were there, but they whet our appetites every day with donuts and coffee waiting outside of our room, as well as several different types of soup and deserts. ||They even surprised us with fresh coconuts to drink, and when the water has quenched your thirst, they open them and separate the meat for you and offer them to you in the halved shells.   Hooray.. after a few months i came again to this hotel, woww. there have been many improvements. the rooms are cleaner and more comfortable. and one that surprised me, they have 6 capsules for backpackers. Cool guys... 😍😍😍 it looks like they still continue to make improvements. hopefully it can be finished quickly because early next year I will come again .. 🙏🙏🙏

  Surprisingly nice. The dorm beds (called capsules apparently). All have a locking sliding door with a dedicated outlet and light. Also good free wifi. Twin XL mattress that's comfortable enough and 2 bathrooms for 6 people. No hot water, but fantastic A/C. They let me store my motorbike in the lobby overnight. All for 70,000IDR
