We loved every minute at Pantai Paris. Our room was spacious, the beautiful mosquito net made me think of "1000 and 1 nights", and the "nature" bathroom was a total delight. Both Suzi and Herman are so welcoming, and Susi's work for the community is truly impressive. She is the most generous person, sharing her knowledge and making her guests special teas to try, and helping her community with employment. Thank you so much for the yellow rice on our last day, Suzy. We are mortally embarrassed that we forgot to leave some extra money for that.

Thank you for an unforgettable three-night stay! We booked our room at the last minute, and from the warm welcome we received upon arrival, it was immediately clear that this is a truly special place. The hospitality, atmosphere, and attention to detail made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Do not stay anywhere else when you're in Maumere. This place is a gem. Herman and Suzie are great hosts with a wealth of travel and life experiences to share. Beautiful garden, excellent rooms, fabulous tasty breakfast, home made jams are delicious, coffee/tea as you wish - just a brilliant place with great owners and excellent staff. Believe me, I know about these things as I've racked up 000's of kms travelling Indonesia since 1970.

I would say that this homestay is a game changer. It is such a wonderful place to be. Susi and Hermann are soooo wonderful people. We felt like at home. The place is magical and the flowers and all the nature inside is amazing. It is an eco hotel and the owner try to reduce plastics to the minimum. The sunset at the place is amazing 😍 The toilet and shower is amazing too 🤩 it is under open sky. If you are really lucky there is a blackout in the city and you see the whole milky way. We will come back for sure.
