We stayed here in peak season and where the only guests. Tried asking the staff for help with transportation, what to do in the area and other basic questions. They couldn't answear any of our questions. The facilities are nice with large clean rooms and a great pool. A pity the staff can't offer basic service. Restaurant serves over priced and not very tasty food. Area is remote except from the fascinating wuring fishermen village nearby. We left after a couple of nights even though the kids loved the pool.

The hotel is a bit out of town. There are no shops in the area. I don't understand why the prices are so high (for Indonesia) and they would not budge on the price at all even though the resort was empty. As others have said, we were the only people staying there and it felt quite strange at night walking to the restaurant. It feels like it was a busy resort 10+ years ago. It has lots of potential espeically if they lowered the price it would be busier. The pool is huge and very nice. It was fun chatting to the locals who pay to use the pool at weekends. The egg plant fritters were tasty. The staff were friendly.

That was were nice experience. The place is a bit outside the city what for us was perfect. There is a lot of space but it seemed we were there athe only hotel guests. Amazingly big and tasty breakfast. Keep in mind that people from outside can come swim in the swimming pool (they are buying vouchers).
