Roots Dive & Yoga was a pleasant surprise.Went during wet season, so it felt more like a quiet retreat than a dive center — calm, uncrowded, no chaos. Great location up in the hills with a view of Batur across the strait — sunsets are unreal.Didn’t dive, but the yoga alone made it worth it. The teacher was excellent — mixing styles each day, keeping it engaging without going too “spiritual.” Good balance of physical work and actual reset.Overall vibe is low-pressure. You can follow the flow or just do your own thing. Also a really solid restaurant by Bali standards.Appreciated the late checkout — small detail, but says a lot.Net: great off-season spot to reset. Would come back.

In spent a week as a solo traveler at the Deep Roots Dive and Yoga Retreat and had a wonderful time in this little paradise! i booked the dive and yoga package and have enjoyed it very much. the mountain cottage was very spacious with a nice view, the food was very good and what was making the stay truely perfect were the people! everyone was just so super nice and caring. due to a cold i could not do as much diving as i would have liked to, but i was provided with a lot of alternatives which i highly appreciated! (thanks hendra for that special snorkeling adventure 😁) the yoga workshops and classes with jennifer and giselle were wonderful and have opend a gate to a new world for me (thanks again ladies). the massages at the resort complemented perfectly the relaxing environment. also a big thank you to the owner louise for borrowing me that humidifier - it really helped me getting well quicker! i miss all of you and your little paradise!!!

We spent 3 nights at this tropical paradise in April. It is well set up for scuba divers and the dive masters were all personable and spoke English well. Our two days of diving allowed us to explore the diversity of the reefs of this lush island; the boat ride to the dives on the south shore of Nusa Penida was a particularly magnificent journey in and of itself with turquoise waters, waves dramatically crashing against the high, sculpted shoreline and rocky outcrops, and...even views of a giant Medusa statue! ||There is ample room to clean and store your gear, though no dedicated, indoor drying room so plan accordingly.||The rooms are reasonably spacious and the beds are quite comfortable. Everything was impeccably clean and well-organized. The property gardens are pleasing on the eye, and engender an authentic calm; there is not a whisper of any intrusive noise at any time. The views of Mount Agung on Bali were impressive, and best taken from their two swimming pools and also fr

We visit deeproots-resort for 5 days in May. We had 5 perfect days. It started with the good pick-up service. The rooms are beautiful, clean and have a nice view on the mount Agung Bali. The service was perfect. We made a snorkelingtour with a great service and good equipment. The food in the restaurant was delicious. All the details in the resort are made with love and quality. The way the owner deals with the staff gave us a good feeling. After staying there for 5 days, we say : "every thing is perfect in the deeproots-resort"
