  Because I booked their resort so I brought my aged parents to try for their first ever Scuba diving experience. The experience is very disappointing. The Center fully aware of their age and health condition but the diving sites and sea conditions are not explained to us. the first dive site was manta point. No one informed us that this place has strong wave and current. We have done many previous snorkelling trip in Phuket and Krabi and we never expected such extreme conditions. So my dad got sea sickness and my mom have to escort him back, the staff who was supposed to take care of my dad did not assist and continue with the dive. There were 5 divers on the same boat , other divers(experienced) has 1 on 1 instructor, only my mom and me being 1 instructor to 2 complete beginners. With the extreme sea conditions, it caused my mom’s first attempt failed. And after my parents quit I found out that the 2nd dive point -SD point is just in front of the diving center with calm and peaceful

  Mambo was really a surprise for us. The place was beautiful and clean well maintained. Definitely not something you will expect from a dive resort. Everyone was so friendly with great service. We did a snorkelling trip. Elkon who was with us took good care of us and even checking with us constantly when he knew i had a bit of seasickness. They are not the cheapest but they ensure they have a 1:3 to 1:5 ratio with o buoy so that we wont drift away. During the trip, we saw 3 other snorkelers drifted off with no one to help them. Finally Mambo helped them find their operator. During the trip, we always felt safe. Of yah Elkon took Go-pro(their setup) videos for us during the trip too! The restaurant was another surprise. Tastefully renovated and romantic. Food was really delicious. There is also live band in the evening singing different language songs. (Spanish, Chinese, English, maybe Italian haha) +

  I did the open water dive certification with Ace the first day in the pool and with Gabby the second and third day diving in the ocean. Ace was great in the pool and taught me what I needed to learn. Gabby was amazing to have with me in The ocean. I felt safe and had the best time imaginable. She had full control over me, the surroundings and the situation at all times. Gabby was wonderful. You also get a proper scuba education. Not a simple, stupid one that doesn’t teach you what you need to know. I highly recommend taking the scuba diver certification at Mambo Diver Center, and if you are very very lucky, you get to have Gabby with you in the ocean.

  An Unforgettable Diving Experience on Nusa Penida! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently went on a scuba dive with Mambo Dive Center, and I can’t recommend them highly enough! From start to finish, the entire experience was flawless. A huge shout-out to David and Ace. These guys are absolute pros—extremely knowledgeable, patient, and just great people to be around. I felt 100% safe and well-guided throughout the entire dive. Beyond the instructors, the entire crew on the boat was outstanding. They were incredibly helpful, attentive, and created such a positive, high-energy atmosphere. It’s clear that this team loves what they do, and it really shows in the quality of service they provide. The equipment was in excellent condition, and the boat was well-maintained. If you’re visiting Nusa Penida and want to see the best of the underwater world with a top-tier team, Mambo Dive Center is the place to go! Bottom line: An incredible day with a legendary crew!
