  Hey you! Yes, YOU! Stop scrolling for a dive shop—you found the one. Seriously. Save your time, don’t overthink it, and just book with Hippo. ​I’ve been to many dive shops around the world, and Hippo is absolutely top-tier. As a picky diver, I carefully checked almost every dive shop in the area when I first booked diving in Bali—and I don’t regret choosing Hippo at all. This is my second time in Bali, and I didn’t even bother searching for other shops. I came straight back here, and for good reason. ​The Hospitality is Unreal: The owners are ridiculously kind and truly look after you. I casually mentioned I skipped breakfast, and they just handed me a bowl of chicken congee... I wasn't even staying at their accommodation! I mean, who does that? ​Top-Notch Facilities (Solid Resort Vibe): The gear is top-tier and spotless.   I really had a great time at HIPPO diving centre. I appreciate their hospitality and kindness. I have stayed at their accommodation which was affordable price and everything I needed was there. Air conditioned, lots of water to hydrate and most importantly COMFORTABLE BED and PILLOWS. Love it! On the way to Manta point was bumpy and rough that I feel like I would throw up on the speed boat despite I don't normally have a sea sick. But luckily they gave me anti-nausea pill in advance so that I was fine. I mean, I still felt like I was gonna vomit and feeling anxious due to high tides but the pill saved my life. I had a great time with Dive instructor; Ryan. Ryan has more than 10 years of experience guided so well under the water. And he took lots of amazing photos and videos for me with Manta rays and sea wilderness that I could forever remember precious moments! Once again thank you so much!

  While visiting Bali several times, I always took a ferry to Nusa Penida to dive, which is famous for mantas and sunfish. I visited Hippo Diving for the first time on the recommendation of my friend. It is located in a place called Sanur, and compared to Kuta or Canggu, it was quieter, cleaner, and had a nice beach as well. Nusa Penida Manta Point and Sunfish Point ( crystal bay) can be reached in 30-40 minutes, so diving wasn't burdensome at all, and I was able to have the best dive BIG thanks to the staff's careful consideration and perfect preparation. I was able to have the best diving ever, because of the Super nice owner, friendly instructors, and well trained staff. Above all, they prepared clean and good equipment, systematic and experienced briefing, delicious lunch, snacks, fresh towels, and even Panchos to wear after diving, they are amazing even care about maintaining the divers' body temperature after diving.   Super recommended diving shop in Bali! This was my first time scuba diving, and I'm absolutely thrilled to have experienced it with Hippo Diving Bali. Every step of the way, I felt that they were highly organized, professional, and prioritized my safety to ensure I could fully enjoy the underwater adventure without any fear. I'm now addicted to scuba diving, thanks to them! I hope to get my open water license in the near future if the opportunity arises.
