  My husband and I stayed in a one-bedroom villa with a private pool for four nights. The price was around what we would expect to pay for this type of accommodation, particularly given the inclusion of a private pool.||The villa itself, however, felt quite old and tired. I also had difficulty finding a power outlet that would securely hold my universal charger, and the outlet in the bedroom did not work with it at all. During our stay, we experienced several maintenance issues, including occasions when either the toilet or the television was not functioning properly.||Despite these shortcomings, we understood that this property is located in an older part of Bali and were prepared to overlook these relatively minor issues.||The service at the restaurants, Lasang for breakfast and Pier 8 for dinner, could not be faulted. All of the wait staff were absolutely lovely, professional and accommodating throughout our stay. ||That said, my overall impression of the hotel was unfortunately overs

  Overall we had a wonderful time, in our three bedroom pool villa setting. The resort itself made for a truly relaxing holiday. We were surprised and delighted on arrival with a complimentary bottle of wine and a fridge with chocolates and sweet pastries. Even a birthday treat delivered for our son on his birthday was a lovely surprise. The swimming pool is huge and a lovely quiet retreat from the world, equally the main pool and the service there was outstanding. The breakfast each day is absolutely delicious! We did notice that our villa was showing a little wear in places, but we want to particularly highlight how quickly and efficiently the team resolved anything that came up. That responsiveness made all the difference, and it certainly didn't take away from our enjoyment of the stay. We left feeling well looked after, and we'd happily stay with you again.

  This was our first trip to Indonesia (Bali), and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The Continental was everything we hoped for and more. From the moment we checked in, we were made to feel both welcome and special. Our room was fantastic, with everything we needed. The pool area was excellent, supported by wonderful and attentive staff. Breakfast quickly became one of my favourite meals of the day, there was always something to look forward to. The complimentary evening cocktails and beautifully prepared canapés in the new lobby lounge, overlooking the water, were a perfect way to unwind after a long day of sightseeing. Our complimentary one-hour massage in the day spa was also a highlight, honestly, one of the best experiences I’ve had. Just amazing! As for the location, we’ll definitely be back!

  This is a lovely, smaller resort right on the beach in the heart of the restaurant scene. The ocean view room was stunning. The pool is beautiful and set up high overlooking the ocean. The ambience is very quiet and peaceful, with mostly older guests, which suited us perfectly. Breakfast was lovely with buffet and a la carte options available. Staff were delightful and always ready to help. Was disappointed that the lobby was under construction as it took away from the Bali grandeur experience at check-in but looking forward to returning and seeing the completed project. Would recommend this resort.
