  The Absolute Best Freediving School!!! I came to Apnea Bali for a 2-week Half Master course in May after it was highly recommended by several friends and instructors—and now I completely understand why. I left a much better, more confident diver. From day one, the approach was incredibly personalized. During the briefing, they asked for my goals and tailored a progressive plan for me. I loved that they rotate instructors every few days because it allowed me to learn from everyone. The instructors here are absolute masters at problem-solving. There were times I couldn’t even articulate what went wrong during a dive, but they would dive alongside me, observe, and immediately provide actionable solutions. I was really struggling with my duck dives and bi-fins technique. They were so patient—explaining each technique clearly, filming video feedback so I could see the area for improvements, and slowly refining my form.   I fell in love with this place and with freediving thanks to them! The place is great, with the best team and family vibe. I’ve had my wave 1 with Barra and he was amazing! Taught me every aspect perfectly + being fun and easy. I also had some coaching sessions with Sam and Jalil which are incredible instructors as well and each taught me something I was missing. Several weeks later I did my 30m dive. Can’t recommend this place enough🙃 🤍

  Had 3 training sessions with Apnea Bali this long weekend and learnt so much from both instructors Sam & Jalil. Sam is bubbly, friendly and very helpful. Her ability to speak many languages fluently made us feel at home. Jalil is observant, patient and gave many good tips to improve our diving. The space was always clean, welcoming and well organised. The cafe was convenient and the cute doggos around was a big plus. Hope to come back again for more trainings in the future!

  I had such a beautiful experience with Apnea Bali ! My trainer Barra was amazing he made me feel safe, calm, and comfortable both in and out of the water from the very beginning. He’s incredibly skilled, capable and encouraging. You can feel his experience in the way he teaches. The whole school is set up so thoughtfully, the space itself is stunning, and the location is awesome you can see Mt Agung views while you dive ! It really adds to the overall experience. I’m so grateful for the guidance and care I received here. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn or deepen their freediving journey. I can’t wait to come back !
