Kubu Reef

Another Lego beach which makes it hard to get into the waters (worse than Liberty Wreck beach). Special mention to the porters there who carry the equipment to the shore. Small shop available to buy light snacks post-dive. Good diving spot, not crowded. Depth of 18-20m here, making it perfect for beginner divers. Strong currents so be careful when exiting! Fell back and almost lost my fins lol.

This seems like a relatively newly developed divesite. It consists of a few statues, a moped, a bicycle and some ropes with plastic containers of air. A reef is forming on these things, but it is mostly young. The bottom is mostly empty where there are no things put on the bottom, but you can see blue spotted rays, scorpionfish and other fun things there. There's more around the sunken things. This divesite and the Boga wreck are serviced from the same place. Most diving companies here use female porters for carrying tanks and bcd:s to the beach. The beach is very challenging to walk. A good way to master it is to go several divers at a time and hold on to each other. Probably with holding arms at the crook of the arms. Depth here is maybe 3-22 meters making a good safety stop almost inevitable.

This is one of my favorite place to dive! It has artwork, fish, and depth. Also it wasn’t busy
