  If you're looking for an excellent guide and spotter for a macro critter hunt in the Amed & Tulamben area, look no further. Komang is the best dive guide I’ve had the pleasure of diving with in Bali over the past 10 years. He always chooses the best and safest dive sites and has an incredible eye for finding the most amazing critters. He is also very attentive, helping with cameras when entering and exiting the water — something underwater photographers will greatly appreciate. Knowledgeable, respectful of marine life, and genuinely friendly, Komang makes every dive both relaxed and exciting. I could go on praising him, but the best proof is that I will definitely dive with him again next time I’m in Bali.

  We dove with Komang in Nusa Penida, Padangbai, even though his dive centre is actually in Tulamben. For our group of 7, he arranged 2 local dive masters from Padangbai, so we had 3 guides in total. Komang also joined us on day 2 and 3 to look after us, especially since the waters at Padangbai were quite rough. All of them were super attentive and skilled, which made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the dives — and we all came back safely. They were also very helpful with setting up our diving gear, and the boat was in great condition — clean and looking quite new.

  Komang led me on a fantastic dive on the Liberty Wreck in Tulamben. He was very professional and organised and made sure that I was always safe on my dive. The wreck was covered in beautiful corals and the sea life was prolific. We saw such a variety of small fish, as well as a white tip shark and giant turtle. Komang used his GoPro and took many beautiful short videos, which is a nice bonus as now I can look back on the dive and identity all the things I might have forgotten. I will definitely dive with this company again and highly recommend Komang.
