  We spent 10 nights at Corepen Homestay and we were very happy to stay in this Homestay. Far away from big towns this place is a little paradise. The bungalows (7 in total) are simple but very clean and confortable. The bed is excellent surrounded by an anti-mosquito net (but their are NO mosquitos, we didn’t used any of our spray). The sheets are clean and this room perfectly settled in front of the blue lagoon which contains beautiful corals and fishes. Of course the toilets are also simple and very clean, there are two showers and 3 WC which is sufficient for 14 people max.|We loved the food that is served at 7 am, 12 am and 7 pm. The cooker makes good different receipies mainly with rices, chicken, fishes and grilled tofu and vegetables. We had also fruits every days, papaye and delicious little bananas. The breafast was fine with rice, bred, strawberry jam, eggs and bananas, tea, coffee and suggar. In addidition we had every day a small sweet at 4 PM.||The diving center is perfectl

  My wife and I just spent 11 days diving with Corepen. FIrst off Sandy and Maria are fantastic. Anything big or small we needed they immediately took care of. The rooms were beautiful, beds comfortable and with the deck doors open all 11 days it was magical waking up to the sunrise and the lapping waves on our cabin (if windy the waves can be noisy so if you struggle to sleep with white noise they may be to close to the sea for you). The food was also delicious. It was a rotating lineup of a half dozen dishes so it did get a bit repetitive but every dish is delicious and fuels you nicely for all the diving. The diving itself was also fantastic. Raja Ampat has some of the largest schools of fish and most colorful reef we have ever seen with only Alor Indonesia edging it out. We were incredibly lucky on our diving as well seeing plentiful reef sharks, Devil rays, plenty of wobbegongs and a couple of manta rays on a night dive!   We stayed at Corepen for about 10 days and really enjoyed our stay/diving with them. The huts and facilities are basic but clean. The bed was comfortable and it was very nice going to sleep with the sound of waves. There is no sunset view, but sunrise is beautiful every day. The huts are slightly cooler than the others we stayed in Raja Ampat, as they don't get the afternoon sun. Electricity is available from 5pm to 11pm, so powerbanks are very useful. There is no hot water for showers, but it's not really a problem in the climate here. Breakfast is normally Nasi Goreng and toast with eggs, Nutella, jam, bananas. Lunch and dinner is rice, chicken or fish, a stir fry vegetable dish and a vegetable tempura dish. You will also get an omelette if you're a vegetarian. There're often nurse sharks and black tip sharks under the Jeremy at night, as the chief sometimes feed them food scraps after dinner. Diving was great!   I stayed there for 8 nights and it was like living in paradise. The view is simply stunning, you can snorkel or dive from yhe beach and see sharks/ turtles/ rays and more. I went diving a lot and it was amazing. The coral reefs and the boidiversity is mindblowing, lots of fish on every dive. The dive masters and instructors are really mindful and careful during the dives. They also showed us loads of macro creatures for the ones that are into it. The food is delicious and they always cook more than needed so we always had enough and more. I can only strongly recommend this homestay !!
