We (a couple of nature lovers) higly recommend Biodiversity. We spent 2 months total in Raja Ampat (in order: 12-day liveaboard for snorkelling, 9 days at Biodiversity, and 2 12-day liveaboards for diving). Based on our experience and preferences, if we come back and only have 2 weeks available, we will choose Biodiversity; if 3 weeks, we will combine it with 3-4 days each in Sandawarek and Arborek.||We spent great 9 days at Biodiversity. The room/lodge was very specious, comfortable and clean. The food was ample and tasty (protein was mostly fish), afternoon snacks were always a joy. The people were very friendly, attentive and helpful. But most importantly: there were so many things to do that sometimes we couldn't decide.||The house reef is beautiful and full of life, fantastic for snorkelling - we saw many walking sharks, rays, crabs, lobsters, an octupos, a wobbegong, nurse sharks, black tip reef sharks, turtles, squid, and more (some of them when it got dark, don't miss 'night sn

We had absolutely the best time! We stayed 2 weeks, had 25 amazing dives and met great people and had good food. Very fresh and healthy products, diverse dishes. Besides diving, we kayakked to the river bed right around the corner, which was magical. We also did the bird tour at the island (not a real bird guide, don't recommend it) and the bird tour from another island, with pick up, which was a great nature experience. The diving was well arranged with safe and knowledgable guides. Had a lot of fun playing in the strong current, seeing tons and tons of fishes and healthy coral. If you're up for wearing no shoes for your stay, eating with your toes in the sand and seeing no mosquitoes whatsoever, we highly recommend Biodiversity!

We enjoyed one week at Biodiversity Nature Resort and we felt part of the 'family', from the moment we arrived! We were welcomed by all the crew, were being looked after at the breakfast, lunches and dinners and felt very relaxed during our stay. We had booked two dives each day with the skilled dive instructors which were well guided by the kind boatmen and we got to see such beautiful corals and many many colored fish....and... the magnificent oceanic manta's...wow! We will certainly not forget this experience! Terima kasih!! Chris and Vera

We spent 10 nights at the Biodiversity Resort and had a great time! We stayed in the Raja Ampat Garden View Cottage which has a private bathroom and view of the sea. The room was very clean and well-equipped; it was comfortable and quiet. The only “negative” aspect was the high humidity (which is of course just due to the surroundings) so just be prepared. We did lots of dives and had amazing experiences: we saw mantas, sea horses, pigmy sea horses etc! The guides/tours are flexible and accommodated all our wishes. We also snorkeled at the house reef and found a good biodiversity of fish and corals. We did 2 excursions for the red bird of paradise and, although we did not manage to see it, had lots of fun. The food is exceptionally good: everything is homemade with local ingredients and the resort staff is always nice and accommodating for all guests’ requests. 100% recommended!
