  Let’s stick to the facts: 1. We arrived from Waisai in a brutal storm and heavy rain and were soaked to the bone. We managed to run into the divers’ house, and no one inside even asked if we needed help, a towel, or where to go. Everyone was just sitting on their phones. We were freezing and had to walk around with a translator on our phone, literally showing the screen asking for a towel and directions. Only after that did one of the divers finally help us, bring a towel, and escort us to the hotel lobby. 2. We were checked into the room and later given hot tea — thank you for that. However, the room itself was tiny and very old. The ceiling is falling apart, water does not drain properly in the bathroom. The only positives were that the air conditioner worked well and there was a hair dryer. 3. We then asked about diving. We were told that to sign up for diving we would need to wait 2–3 days. What kind of nonsense is that? In the end, we booked diving immediately at a neighboring div

  Friendly lodge, nice staff, decent food and accommodations. However, diving felt unsafe, transportation felt dangerous. For being a dive resort, this did not seem up to any sort of standards. There were no safety briefings, no instructions on what to do in case of current (which is common in this area - another group had a diver blown off course), no sign of oxygen on board or radio signal. With the nearest chamber being in another city hours away, I did not feel like this was the safest operation. While the guides were friendly, English was also limited. On the boats to and from the resort, our boat hit debris at high speed and experienced engine trouble. ||Raja Ampat is a dream destination for many, but quite expensive and difficult to get to. While our experience went ok, I wouldn’t feel comfortable staying here again.

  This is one of the best resort on Mansuar Island and is located near many scuba diving sites. This place is rustic but with good and reliable a/c in the cabins. The meals are buffet-style and are not extensive but you will always find things to eat. The food is deliciously prepared. The staff is so, so caring. They will go out of their way to help and accommodate you. The house reef is incredible for snorkeling and so beautiful with a great variety of fish and coral. The scuba diving in this region is awesome. I would definitely come back to this resort.

  Phenomenal trip. Very good dive lodge that caters to the more European tourist (in NO way do I mean that negatively), and we (party of 5) were extremely satisfied with 98% of our trip. My biggest recommendation when booking; ask for Jimmy and Tualeh. They are fantastic and pointed out more variety of species and size than I’ve ever seen before in RA. He’s the reason I would come back to this resort.
