I spent an incredible week aboard the Scuba Republic liveaboard, and the experience couldn’t have been better. From day one, everything was perfectly organized: clear schedules, thorough dive briefings, and seamless logistics that allowed us to fully enjoy every dive without any worries. The team was consistently professional, attentive, and friendly. Their experience and strong focus on safety were evident, but so was their genuine enthusiasm for making sure everyone had a great time both in and out of the water. The food was another highlight of the trip, varied, plentiful, and genuinely delicious, which is especially appreciated after long dive days. I was also lucky to share the week with an exceptional group of people who made the experience even more special. And of course, the onboard cat, Wobbe, was the perfect touch, his presence made us feel right at home and added a unique charm to the whole trip. I would absolutely recommend this experience and wouldn’t hesitate to do it a

We really enjoyed our stay with Scuba Republic in Raja Ampat. We started at Basecamp, where we did our Open Water course, and then continued on the Dive Safari, where we completed our Advanced certification. During these 5 days, we saw some of the most amazing underwater life—from tiny pygmy seahorses to huge manta rays. Every dive was special. I personally really appreciated being able to stay on land at night, as I struggle with seasickness. The homestays were all beautiful, even if they were quite simple. Some had shared toilets, and in some places the shower was just a bucket of water—but for us, that was part of the experience. Overall, we had a great time, enjoyed the diving, and also really liked the company of the other travelers and divers we met along the way. We can definitely recommend Scuba Republic for anyone wanting to experience Raja Ampat this way.

I spent 5 days staying at Scuba Republic Raja Ampat doing fun dives around the nearby dive sites. I stayed in the hostel dorm which, for $30 per day, included 3 large meals. They happily made vegetarian food for me, and everything was delicious. I completed 2–3 dives per day and every dive was amazing, with incredible coral reefs and lots of interesting sea creatures. All of the instructors were incredibly friendly, and these past few days were definitely a highlight of my trip around Southeast Asia. I’ll definitely be back to do either the liveaboard or safari trip. Many thanks!

We’ve stayed at this absolutely brilliant dive resort for 3.5 months and loved every bit of it! The course director Matt, the manager Zul, and all the amazing diving instructors like Karin, Fiona, Anita, Theo, Fenley, and Saskia made it feel like home for us. We did our Zero-Hero course here and stayed at the Homestay cabin which were comfortable and gave our own privacy with a beach front view of the ocean. The food was delicious and the chef had something unique almost everyday. The staff is quick to help whether it be Dea or Rice at the reception or Clara or Dion at the kitchen. For diving, we had zero dives before coming here but left as dive masters! The dive sites that Scuba republic chooses are well thought out based on tides and currents for that day. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a more than exceptional diving experience at Raja.
